Adam Müller, a single carpenter (Zimmermann), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pinkom.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Susannental on 3 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 36.

The 1767 census records that Adam Müller came from the German village of Heidenfeld [?] in the Würzburg region.
