Johann [Georg] Müller, a farmer, his wife Maria, and children (Johann, age 9; Maria, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier. They were travelling with Georg Müller and his wife Anna.
Joh. Georg Müller, his wife Maria Engel, and children (Joh. Georg, age 9; Maria Cunigunda, age 6) along with Georg Müller and his [new?] wife Catharina are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Georg (whose wife was Catharina) died en route.
Johann Georg Müller, a miller (Müller), his wife Maria, and children (Johann, age 11; Maria, age 8) are recorded on the 1767 census of Susannental in Household No. 20. They had settled in Susannental on 3 August 1767. The fate of Katharina Müller, widow of the Georg Müller who died during the transport from St. Petersburg to Saratov, is not known.
Adam Müller, presumed to be the son of Johann Georg Müller, and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Susannental in Household No. Ss10.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Georg Müller was a farmer from the German region of Hessen. The 1767 census records that he was a miller (Müller) from the German village of Wetter [perhaps Kr. Wetterau] in the Hessen region.
