Johann Muss (age 15) and his siblings (Anna, age 8; Kaspar, age 3; Dorothea, age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 54 along with their stepfather Johann Gottfried Burmeister.
The 1767 census does not record from where the Muss children came.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Muss family among the Volga German colonies.
