Discussion & Documentation

The marriage of Johannes Muth & Catharina Krass is recorded in the parish register of the Lutheran Church in Büdingen, but a line is drawn through the entry indicating that this marriage probably did not occur.

Johannes Mut[h] is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 77.

Johannes Muth and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of  Meinhard in Household No. Mn17.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Mut[h] came from the German village of Neuengronau.
