Konrad Nagel, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Peter, age 16¼; Anna, age 15¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard an English frigate named Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Galka on 27 July 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 50.
Konrad Nagel and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Galka in Household No. Gk63.
The death of Konrad Nagel in 1817 is recorded on the 1834 census of Galka in Household No. 177.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Nagel came from the German region of Isenburg. The 1767 census records that Konrad Nagel came from the German village of Horbach in the region of Isenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Nagel family among the Volga German colonies.
