Nau (Näb)
Anton Nau, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and their children (Anna, age 10; Katharina, age 8; Amalia, age 4; Katharina, age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the ship Der Junge Heinrich under the command of Skipper Heinrich Niemann.
They are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya (No. 115).
In 1796, Anton Nau moved from Näb to Basel. The 1798 census of Näb records Anton Nau in Household No. Nb09.
The 1767 census records that Anton Nau came from the German region of Morsbach.
