Katharina Neuberg [sic], a single woman, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Jungfer Friederika under the command of Skipper Hans Christian Korsholm.
Anna Maria Neuberger, a single lay laborer (Lahnarbeiterin), is recorded on the 1767 census of Brabander in Household No. 93 along with the Johann Georg Eltz family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Neuberger and Eltz families.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Katharina Neuberg [sic] came from the German region of Ansbach. The 1767 census does not record from where Anna Maria Neuberger came.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Neuberger family among the Volga German colonies.
