[Johann] Georg Neuhof, a single miller (Müller), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Jungfer Friederika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 12 May 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 27 along with his new wife Philippina.

The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Neuhof came from the German village of Laubuseschbach in the region of Runkel.
