Niederheim / Nebergal*
There are two Niederheim families from Basel. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.
(1) Karl Niederheim from Basel and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Schaffhausen in Household No. Sh16.
(2) Jakob Niederheim from Basel is recorded on the 1798 census of Schaffhausen in Household No. Sh48.
Jakob Nebergal [sic] and his sons are recorded on the 1834 census of Schaffhausen, but each of them had died between 1816 and 1834.
There are no known surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.
