Bernhard von Noding, his wife Anna, and children (Elisabeth, age 13; Friederika, age 9; Katharina, age 7; Christian, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Bernhard von Noding, his wife Catharina, and children (Elisabet, age 13; Friderica, age 9; Catharina, age 7; Christian, age 4) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Widower Bernhard Noding and children (Katharina, age 15; Elisabeth, age 11; Dorothea, age 9; Christian, age 4) are recorded in Household No. 114 on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou along with a note that they relocated to the Volga German colony of Kind in 1768.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Bernhard Noding was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a hunter (Jäger). The 1767 census records that Bernhard von Noding came from the German region of Darmstadt.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
