Obisker*
Franz Obisker, a boilermaker (Kesselschmied), and his wife Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann and are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 57.
The 1767 census records that Franz Obisker came from the German village of Branik in Böhmen (Bohemia).
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
