Heinrich Oper, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the ship Der Junge Heinirch under the command of Skipper Heinrich Niemann.
They arrived in the Volga German colony of Beauregard on 17 August 1767 and are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 71 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Cäsarsfeld in 1768. Recorded with them is orphan August Windemann. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Oper and Windemann families.
The 1767 census records that Heinrich Oper came from the German village of Lykershausen.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
