Johannes Pachtrech, a baker (Bäcker), and his wife Josephina arrived from Lübeck via Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 May 1766 aboard a pinque named Лапоминк (Lapomink - a Russian river) under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Krykov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johannes Pachtrech came from Vienna in Austria.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
