Claude Person, a silk weaver (Seidenweber), and his wife Jeana settled in the Volga German colony of Franzosen on 23 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 65.

The 1767 census records that Claude Person came from France.

There are no known surviving sons of this Person family among the Volga German colonies.
