Michael Peter, a widowed farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 23 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in household No. 60 along with his stepdaughter Maria Enfrander (age 10).

The 1767 census records that Michael Peter came from the German village of Mibiu.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
