Johann Georg Röder, son of Johann Philipp & Anna Maria Röder, was born on 18 October 1722 in Groß-Bieberau, about 15 kilometers southeast of Darmstadt. He married Anna Margaretha Dorsam. The births of the following children to Johann Georg Röder and Anna Margaretha Dorsam are recorded in the parish register of Groß-Bieberau: (1) Elisabetha Catharina, born 17 March 1750; (2) Elisabetha Margaretha, born 7 January 1755; (3) Anna Catharina, born 12 September 1757; and (4) Johann Adam, on 26 May 1759.

Johann Georg Röder and his family emigrated to Denmark. They departed from Altona, Duchy of Holstein, on 17 September 1760, and arrived in Fridericia, Jutland, on 29 September 1760. The Röders are recorded in Denmark until 22 February 1764.

Johann Räder, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Elisabeth, age 17½; Eva, age 16¼; Margaretha, age 12; Anna, age 9; Johann [Adam], age 7; Maria, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Katharina Eleonora under the command of Skipper Peter Röder.

Johann Adam Räder (age 18) and his sister Maria Katharina (age 14) are recorded on the 1775 census of Beideck in Household No. 28 along with their stepfather Nikolaus Drumheller.

Adam Räder is recorded on the 1798 census of Beideck in Household No. Bd76.

The death of Adam Räder in 1822 is recorded on the 1834 census of Beideck in Household No. 99.
