Thobias [sic] Jacob Rüsener & Johanna Dorothea Schmidt were married 2 September 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Tobias Jakob Rösner, a carpenter (Zimmermann) and miller (Müller), and his wife Maria Ohlschmidt settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt on 17 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 150.

The 1767 census records that Tobias Jakob Rösner came from the German village of Frose in Sachsen (Saxony).
