Rückert (Dönhof)*
Johann Konrad Rückert, his wife Anna Katharina, and daughters (Maria Barbara, age 9; Elisabeth Margaretha, age 2) immigrated to Schleswig-Holstein (Denmark), arriving in Flensburg on 9 June 1762. Father Johann Konrad Rückert died in 1762 in Haarburg. Widow Anna Katharina remarried on 11 September 1764 to Klaus Ercks. They deserted the Danish colonies on 1 May 1765 and immigrated to Russia.
Klaus Ercks, Anna Katharina, and the Rückert daughters settled in the Volga German colony of Dönhof on 21 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.
The Eichhorns record that Johann Konrad Rückert came from the German region of Hessen-Darmstadt.
There are no known surviving male descendants of Johann Konrad Rückert among the Volga German colonies.
