Heinrich Raque (age 41), a baker (Bäcker), his wife Anna Eva Eberl (age 36), and daughters (Catharina, age 18; Anna Eva, age 15; Anna Elisabetha, age 11; Anna Margaretha, age 8; Sara, age 5; Maria Elisabeth, age 3) are recorded on a list of colonists dated 23 September 1765 who were gathering in the town of Worms. They had arrived in Worms on 2 September 1765.

Johann Heinrich Reiswig [sic], a farmer, his wife Anna Eva, and daughters (Anna Eva, age 16; Anna Elisabeth, age 13; Anna Sybilla, age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kratzke in Household No. 38. They had settled there on 8 May 1767.

Anna Eva Raque, wife of Georg Kimmel, and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Merkel in Household No. Mr12.

Anna Sybilla Raque, wife of Jakob Rein, and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Merkel in Household No. Mr10.

Elisabeth Raque from Kratzke, wife of Friedrich Bangert and presumed daughter of Heinrich Raque, and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Dietel in Household No. Dt33.

Johann Michael Raque, presumed son of Heinrich Raque, and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kratzke in Household No. Kr31 along with a note that he is in Sarepta.

The widow and children (Katharina Dorothea, age 10; Johann Adam, age 7) of Christoph Raque, another presumed son of Heinrich Raque, are recorded on the 1798 census of Kratzke in Household No. Kr36, along with a note that they are living in Hussenbach.

The death of Adam Raque in 1831 is recorded on the 1834 census of Hussenbach in Household No. 101.

Johannes & Konrad Raque, sons of Adam Raque, and their families are recorded on the 1857 census of Hussenbach in Household No. 110.

The 1765 Worms list records that Heinrich Raque came from the German village of Hochspeyer. The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Reiswig [sic] came from the German village of Kaiserslautern in the Kurpfalz region.

This surname appears in Russian records with a variety of other spellings including Rachi, Rack, Racki, Rochi, Rocki, Reich, and Reiswig.
