Rausch (Yagodnaya Polyana)
Johann Caspar Rausch, son of Johann Heinrich Rausch, was baptized 31 August 1740 in Helpershain. Anna Maria Hünergarth, daughter of Johann Adam Hünergarth, was baptized in Helpershain on 6 February 1741.
Johann Caspar Rausch and Anna Maria Hünergarth were married in Büdingen on 19 June 1766.
Johann Kaspar Rausch, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of skipper Thomson.
Johann Caspar Rausch and his wife Anna Maria are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Yagodnaya Polyana on 1 September 1767, and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 11. The couple were both still living at the time of the 1798 Census, and are recorded in Yagodnaya Polyana in Household No. Yp09.
