Anton Räuscher [sic] and Catharina Kuff were married on 3 October 1765 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Anton Rauscher, a woodcarver (Schnitzer), his wife Katharina, and son Johann Heinrich (age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 32. They had settled there on 27 August 1766.

The 1767 census records that Anton Rauscher came from the German village of Grätz near Steiermark.
