Friedrich Wilhelm Rausendan, a leather worker (Lederarbeiter), and his wife Maria Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 8 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 39.

The 1767 census records that Friedrich Wilhelm Rausendan came from the German village of Nordhausen.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
