The births of the following children born to Johann Melchior & Anna Katherine Reichelt are recorded in the parish register of Bullenheim: (1) Eva Barbara, born 13 September 1723; (2) Georg Paul, born 10 November 1725; (3) Georg, born 29 October 1727; (4) Johann Michael, born 4 April 1729; (5) Anna Catharina Barbara, born 28 March 1731; (6) August Nikolaus, born 18 May 1733; (7) Anne Margaretha, born about 1736, died 31 August 1743 at age 7; (8) Anna Kunigunda, born 11 May 1738; and (9) Johann Georg David, born 23 April 1741, died 11 February 1747.
The third child, Georg, migrated to Russia.
Georg Reichelt, a barber (Friseur), his wife Sophia Magdalena, and stepchildren (surname Wogau) arrived on 27 August 1766 in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No 11. [See Wogau Family.]
The Reichelt family is recorded in the 1776 Land Register of Katharinenstadt.
The 1767 census records that Georg Reichelt came from the German village of Baldenheim [sic] in the German region of Franconia.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Reichelt family among the Volga German colonies.
