Valentin Reichert [errantly recorded as Röder], a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Anna Maria, age 16½; Johann Heinrich, age 8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the pink Cargo under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Köhler on 21 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 86.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Valentin Reichert came from the German region of Erbach. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Mosbach.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Reichert family among the Volga German colonies.
