Konrad Reichert, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental on 14 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 53.

The 1767 census records that Konrad Reichert came from the German village of Kottenheim in the Kurtrier region.
