Georg Reichold, a barber (Friseur), his wife Sophia Magdalena, and stepchildren (surname Wogau) arrived on 27 August 1766 in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No 11.

The 1767 census records that Georg Reicholdt came from the German village of Baldenheim in France.
