Johann Georg Reiger, a farmer, his wife Katharina Dorothea, and children (Anna Maria, age 8; Johann Philipp, age 6; Maria Charlotte, age 3-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Straub in Household No. 22. They had settled there on 12 May 1767.
The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Reiger came from the German village of Dürrbach in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).
