Konrad Christoph Reimer, a carpenter (Zimmermann), and his wife Charlotta arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Conrad Riemer, his wife Charlotta, and daughter Susanna [born en route] are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kaneau on 7 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 63.
The 1798 census records that Peter Reimer from Kaneau was living in Katharinenstadt and is recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Ka078. The 1798 census also records that Christian Reimer from Kaneau was living in Schwed and is recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Sw09.
The Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Konrad Christoph Reimer came from the German region of Braunschweig.
