Paul Rieszner [sic] & Christiana Margaretha Best were married on 12 June 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.
Paul Reissner [sic], a farmer, and his wife Christina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.
Paul Reissner and his wife Catharina are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Paul Reisner and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Household No. Bt24.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Paul Reissner came from Hungary.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Reisner family among the Volga German colonies.
