The parish register of Friderichshaab [Denmark] records on 19 August 1762 the baptism of Johann Michael Reth, daughter of Johann Michael Reth.
They are last recorded among the Danish colonies on 26 April 1763.
They joined the migration to Russia and settled in the Volga German colony of Anton on 7 September 1764.
Michael Reth, his wife Eva Katharina, and children (Johann Michael, age 5; Johann Christian, age 5; Eva Katharina, age 1) are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.
Michael Reth, his wife Eva Katharina Krämer, and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Anton in Household No. An55.
The Eichhorns record that Hans Michael Reth came from the German village of Siedelsbrunn in the area of Lindenfels in the Kurpfalz region. The 1767 census records that he came from the area of Lindenfels in the Kurpfalz region.
