Retzer
Leonhard Retzer, a hunter (Jäger), his wife Eva Rosina, and children (Franz Joseph [Sachs], Siegmundus [Sachs], and Maria Anna) settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 6 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 37.
The 1775 census of Kamenka records Konrad Kessler in Household No. 28 along with his new wife, the widow Rosina Retzer, and her children by previous marriages (Siegmund Sachs, age 20; Anna Maria Retzer, age 10). Franz Joseph Sachs is recorded on the 1775 census of Kamenka in Household No. 47.
The 1767 census records that Leonhard Retzer came from the German village of Regensburg.
