Peter Reuter, a baker, his wife Katharina, and daughter Katharina (age 5½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Jungfer Friederika under the command of Skipper Hans Christian Korsholm.
Orphan Katharina Reuter (age 6) is recorded on the 1767 census of Preuss in Household No. 6 along with the Franz Thuris family with whom she had arrived in Oranienbaum.
The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Reuter and Thuris families.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Reuter came from Luxembourg. The 1767 census does not record from where Katharina Reuter came.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Reuter family among the Volga German colonies.
