Johann[es] Reuter, servant of Johannes Schnell, is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johannes Reuter, age 20, settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 26 August 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in the household (No. 176) of Ernst Kleer. His relationship to this family is not recorded.

In 1790, Heinrich Reuter moved from Norka to Frank.

The death of Johannes Reuter in 1800 is recorded on the 1811 census of Norka in Household No. 162.

Johannes Reuter, son of Johannes Reuter, is recorded on the 1811 census of Norka in Household No. 162 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Frank in 1803 [sic].

Johann[es] Reuter from Norka is recorded on the 1811 census of Frank in Household No. 141 along with a note that he had arrived in Frank from Norka in 1801 [sic].

This Johann[es] Reider (sic) is believed to have arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin. Several other families that settled in Frank are recorded aboard this vessel.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Reider (sic) came from the German village of Bayreuth.
