Rexius
Jakob Rexius, a farmer, his wife Margaretha, and children (Dorothea, age 25; Johann [Michael], age 20; Philipp, age 4; Katharina, age ¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Dyodorov.
Surviving son Johann Michael settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 22 along with his new wife Elisabeth.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that this Rexius family came from the German region of Darmstadt.
