Michael Richmeier, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Herzog on 14 July 1766 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 22.

The 1798 census of Zug records August Richmeier from Herzog in Household No. Zg22.

The 1767 census records that Michael Richmeier came from the German village of Kelheim in Bayern (Bavaria).
