Rieger (Enders)*

Heinrich Rieger, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Katharina Eleonora under the command of Skipper Peter Röder.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Enders on 15 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 40.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Heinrich Rieger was a tailor from the German region of Württemberg. The 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker) from the German village of Malbrun [Maulbronn?] in the Württemberg region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
