Riegner
Michael Regard [sic], a farmer from Würzburg, his wife Margaretha, and children (Margaretha, age 8; Fiet, age 5; Anna, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the Russian galliot named Kronverk under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Ilyin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Göbel on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 13.
Widower Michael Riegert [sic] and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Göbel in Household No. Gb28.
Peter Riegner and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Göbel in Household No. 44. Peter's brother Georg and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Göbel in Household No. 110.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Michael Regard [sic] came from the German region of Würzburg. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Kervenheim in the region of Würzburg.
