Johannes Rihl, a farmer, and his wife Anna settled in the Volga German colony of Beauregard on 27 August 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 39 along with their 3-month-old daughter Anna.
The 1767 census does not record from where Johannes Rihl came.
