Discussion & Documentation:

Kaspar Rollhausen, a single tailor (Schneider), is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou (No. 122). A note on the 1767 census records that he settled in the Volga German colony of Kind in 1768.

The 1767 census records that Kaspar Rollhausen came from the German region of Darmstadt.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Rollhausen family among the Volga German colonies.

[There is a Caspar Rollsshausen who was born 7 April 1749 in Mainzlar. He is recorded in the Familienbucher Mainzlar by Hanno Müller. He may be the guy who settled in the Volga German colony of Kind.]
