Nikolaus Rolising [sic], a craftsman (Handwerker), his wife, and son Anton (age 9) settled in the Volga German colony of Franzosen. They are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 48.

In 1790, Anton Rolsing and his family moved from Franzosen to Seelmann.

Anton Rolsing and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Seelmann in Household No. Sm47.

The death of Anton Rolsing in 1820 is recorded on the 1834 census of Seelmann in Household No. 78.

The 1767 census records that Nikolaus Rolising came from the German region of Hamburg.
