Rosenheim

There are two Rosenheim families that settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim on 15 March 1766. Their relationship to each other is not recorded on the 1767 census.

(1) Karl Christian Rosenheim (age 64), a master ropemaker (Seilermeister), and his wife are recorded on the 1767 Rosenheim census in Household No. 6.

(2) Friedrich Gotthelf Rosenheim (age 26), a craftsman (Handwerker), and his family are recorded on the 1767 Rosenheim census in Household No. 9.

The 1767 census records that his wife, Anna Christina, came from the German town of Danzig. The 1767 census records that both of these Rosenheim families came from the German village of Wittenberg in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).
