Roth (Katharinenstadt)
Sebastian Roth, a turner (Tischler) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.
Sebastian Roth is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Widower Sebastian Roth is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 46.
In 1778, Johann Roth and his family moved from Katharinenstadt to Moscow.
The 1767 census records that Sebastian Roth came from the German village of Neuß in the Mainz region.
