Johannes Roth, a farmer, and his wife Anna settled in the Volga German colony of Ober-Monjou on 17 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 46.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Roth came from the German village of Neudorf.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Roth family among the Volga German colonies.
