Rambe Roufosse, a single soldier (Soldat), settled in the Volga German colony of Franzosen on 28 July 1765. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 31 along with a note that he was working as a day-laborer for Recruitor Pictet.
The 1767 census records that Rambe Roufosse came from the village of Liège in the Lebrand [?] region.
