Rupp (Kolb)*
Johannes Rupp, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and his sister Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kolb on 13 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 21.
Anna Elisabeth Rupp, widow of Johannes Rupp, and their son Johann Georg (age 23) are recorded on the 1798 census of Kolb in Household No. Ko28.
The death of Johann Georg Rupp in 1799 is recorded on the 1811 census of Kolb in Household No. 28.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Rupp came from the German village of Weißenbach in the Hessen-Kassel region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Rupp family among the Volga German colonies.
