Discussion & Documentation:

Georg Eberhard Sack, son of Christofel Sack & Catharina Rinn, was born 25 March 1747 in the village of Heuchelheim, today a western suburb of Giessen.

Eberhard Sack, a single stonemason, arrived from Lübeck in Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg.

He arrived in the Volga German colony of Huck on 1 July 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 57 along with his new wife, Anna Eva Michel, and their newborn son, Johann Adam (age 1 month).

Eberhard & his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Huck in Household Hk47.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Eberhard Sack came from the German region of Darmstadt.
