Anton Sartor [sic] and his wife Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard a Danish galliot named Der Engel Rafael (Archangel Raphael) under the command of Skipper Ehlert Kongsted.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Preuss on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 121.
Anton Sattori, his wife, and his daughter and daughter's family are recorded on the 1798 census of Preuss in Household No. Ps73.
The death of Anton Sator [sic] (age 72) of Preuss is recorded in May 1808 [exact date illegible] in the parish register of Preuss.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anton Sartor [sic] was a stocking weaver while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer. Both documents record that Anton Sattori came from the German region of Salzburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Sattori family among the Volga German colonies.
