Friedrich Scharlipp, a farmer, his wife Dorothea, [step-]daughter Dorothea [surname not recorded] (age 13), and daughter Elisabeth (age 6-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 46. They had settled there on 7 June 1767.

In 1781, Friedrich Scharlipp and his family moved from Paulskaya to Enders.

Friedrich Scharlipp and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Enders in Household No. En27.

The 1767 census records that Friedrich Scharlipp came from the German village of Schwerin.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
