Scheidt (Rosenheim-2)*
Johannes Scheidt, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim on 15 March 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 62 along with his stepdaughter, Anna Katharina Werth.
Lorenz Scheidt and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Rosenheim in Household No. Rm19.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Scheidt came from the German region of Zentos.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Scheidt family among the Volga German colonies.
