Peter Schenk, son of Conrad Schenck of Glauberg, married on 6 March 1760 in Glauberg to Anna Barbara Geberd, daughter of Johann Conrad & Anna Elisabeth Geberd.
Peter Schenk, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughter Katharina (age 13) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard an English frigate named Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax along with servant Johann Völker (age 22).
Peter Schenk (age 38), a farmer, his wife Anna Barbara (age 36), and son Johann Heinrich (age ¾) are recorded on the 1767 census of Galka in Household No. 58. They had arrived in Galka on 27 July 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Schenk came from the German region of Stolberg. The 1767 census records that Peter Schenk came from the German village of Glauberg near Stolberg.
